weta sailing

So I met some lovely people from New Zealand who took me sailing on the San Francisco Bay. Here is a video that they made from their visit. I haven't figured out how to edit video from my gopro yet but I included some stills.

Sailing was so much fun! I bought a wetsuit the other day @sportsbasement and can't wait to put it to use. I am going to start doing wind surfing/kite boarding/sailing soon. I also plan to get scuba certified since I am deathly afraid of being deep in the ocean and large bodies of water. EEK!

The beginning of a new journey

The thing that blows about working retail is that you have to work weekends...the benefit is weekdays off which means less crowds, better deals and endless adventuring (even though it might be alone). Today was my day off and I got tricked into an 8hr personal-life sucking work meeting. My lack of memory, desire to change careers and travel the world meeting random strangers has led me to start a new Blog. I've been thinking about creative ways to combine my interest of photography, travel and being outside into a job that pays....until I figure it out I will be a weekday wanderer.
